Mandatory Parent and Camper Meetings:

Friday, Dec 16th, 2022, 6-7pm- mandatory for parents and campers to learn about camp- last chance to sign up and last chance to cancel.

Wednesday, Jan 11th, 2023, 6-7pm- mandatory last minute details and last chance to turn in paperwork and transportation plans.

FOOD: Food is provided starting with Monday lunch through Friday breakfast. They can accommodate most food requests including vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, etc as long as we let them know in advance.

TRANSPORTATION: Families must provide their own transportation to and from the camp (or arrange car pools with each other).

CORE Butte: These dates are the same week that CORE Butte is attending. CORE students are encouraged to register directly through CORE. Other students will know that their CORE friends will be there the same week.

SHOULD MY CHILD GO 5th or 6th or 7th GRADE?: Thrive is hoping to host this every year but it is determined by how many students register. It's a good idea to go this year so you don't miss out. Curriculum is designed for 5th and 6th grades but applicable and enjoyable for 7th. All participants must be at least 11 years old by date of camp and show maturity and readiness for overnight camp to attend. Students may attend multiple years.

Cabin Leader High School Volunteers:

Thrive Homeschool Program will be looking for cabin counselors for Shady Creek Outdoor School. For more information about Shady Creek go to  http://www.shadycreek.org/

Cabin Leaders spend the week with the students supervising 7 to 10 students assigned to their cabin.  For more information about cabin counselors and their responsibilities go to:

Ideally we are looking for 2 female and 2 male junior or senior high school students but all high school and college students are encouraged to apply.

This experience is free for selected high school students and provides a great addition to your resume. We are unable to provide any funds or reimbursements for expenses incured. Volunteers must find their own transportation to and from camp. Food and lodging is provided free at camp.
