Various vendors, programs and charters come together with informative presentations and informational booths. Perfect for new and experienced homeschoolers throughout Butte County.
Homeschooling in Butte County, or even just thinking about it?
ALL are welcome to these FREE events.
Child care will be offered by donation.
Curriculum/Supplies: Register to host a FREE booth and set up a table to sell your gently used items. There will also be a table where you can bring and leave things to donate and share with each other.
Young Entrepreneurs: Homeschoolers (17 and under) are invited to set up and run a booth/mini store to sell their products and services and keep all their profits for the evening. Homeschool entreprenuer booths are to be open 5 to 6:30pm.
Attend for which ever times appeal to you and your family.
Vendor and charter booths will be open 5 to 8pm.
Homeschool Enterprenuer booths are to be open 5 to 6:30pm.
5 to 5:15- How to homeschool legally- options including private and charter schools.
5:15 to 5:30 - Homeschooling styles, options and choices.
5:30 to 6:30- Making the right Charter Choice for your family. Each local homeschool charter get's a chance to share what makes their charter shine so you can compare and decide which is right for you.
6:30 to 7:30- Classes and programs available locally to support your family's homeschooling journey. Learn more about Thrive, Nature Immersion, Ecotopia, Creative STEAM, co-ops and more.
7:30 to 8- Q and A with a panel of homeschooling parents.
We may stay until 8:30 if anyone would like to continue the Q and A or just mingle.
